Our Vision
To preserve and promote the Ryūkyū martial arts culture and living traditions taught by Onaga Yoshimitsu Sensei at the Shinjinbukan School in Okinawa, Japan. Our philosophy is the pursuit of spiritual and human development through the practice of Shōrin Ryū Karate and Ti. Our philosophy is the pursuit of spiritual and human development through the practice of Ti (手) – the ancient Okinawan martial art, which preceded modern Karate.
Our Mission
─ To provide affordable lessons to all student at the Shinjinbukan New York Branch School (Shibu Dōjō).
─ To provide scholarships at our Dōjō through our community programs.
─ To sponsor the growth of Shinjinbukan organization within the United States and other countries.
─ To provide financial support to the Shinjinbukan Main School in Okinawa.
